Just down the road from Leverentz Lake State Forest Campground, Neil's Secret Spot is a free, privately managed dispersed site outside Baldwin, Michigan. No outhouse on-site, though the town is close enough for restroom stops and resupply. The site accommodates tents and very small rigs up to 10 feet, and allows pets and campfires. Fishing, kayaking, swimming, and OHV access round out the activity options. Bring your own water and plan for a primitive stay.
