Description

Lively Acres is a brand new campground in the shadow of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in beautiful Leelanau County, Michigan, and only 20-minutes to Traverse City. We offer spacious pull-through and back-in RV sites, as well as some tent sites and two camping cabins, with some of the best stargazing around. It is all set on a reclaimed farm field that now hosts a 4-acre regenerative vegetable and flower farm, and the Lively NeighborFood Market with fresh local produce and groceries and grab & go foods. Clean, new, quiet

We visited in mid October, out of season, but the phone reservation that same day was easy and helpful. Verizon cell service was good, and the Porta potties were clean. There were no plumbed toilets or showers. The planted trees and shrubs are young, so there is no shade or privacy between sites yet.
