Free and quiet

It's 10 miles off US2 but it's free and very peaceful. Two others are here tonight.

Aces

There's actually seven sites, but they're all pretty premium, spacewise and just general atmosphere. Each has its own fire ring and a picnic table. The loop is also directly connected to a cheeky little waterfall trail. Nice and out of the way

Remote setting with paved road access

Even though this campground is a decent distance from the main road, the way out is paved. This was unexpected but there are plenty of unpacked side roads to explore. You pass a trailhead on the way in so head back for a hike. Hay meadow falls hiking trail is an option that is right in camp. Town is not that far away with larger towns a bit further.

The campground is small but all the sites are spread out. Some look more frequented than others - meaning some campsites had taller grass which may be uncomfortable for some. Add in the emptiness of camp and you will feel all on your own out here. A simple vault toilet can be found along with a water hand pump.

This was a great find!

Great Spot

Easy to get to. No service for TMobile or Verizon, but still a great secluded spot.
