Wild Yough is proud to have introduced glamping, or turnkey camping, to the beautiful mountaintop playground of Garrett County, Maryland. “Yough” is short for Youghiogheny River, a state-designated wild and scenic river which runs through the heart of the property. 350 private acres with miles of hiking or biking trails. Wild Yough is pet friendly and located in the middle of Garrett County’s park district, convenient to thousands of acres of public land, lakes, swimming beaches, and of course, rivers. Shopping is also close by in the quaint village of Oakland or at the resort town of McHenry.
