Sandy Hill Family Camp

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Drive-in access and electric and water hookups make Sandy Hill Family Camp a workable base for RVs up to 40 feet on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The campground sits along the Nanticoke River with a small beach area, and campers report easy river access for fishing and crabbing. A mix of seasonal residents and longer-term campers fills the site, so expect a lived-in atmosphere rather than a remote retreat. The season runs March 1 through December 15, and amenities include showers, a dump station, and picnic tables. Anglers looking at campsites near Salisbury will find this one of the few spots with direct riverfront access in the region. Book early if planning a summer weekend, as seasonal campers tend to hold sites long-term.
