Overview
Mystic Valley Campground is a privately owned, pet-friendly campground situated at 527 Hampden Road in Carmel, Maine, just two miles off Interstate 95 Exit 174 on Route 69. The park offers full hook-up, water/electric, and tent sites across approximately 50 sites, and is well suited to both through-travelers and those seeking a seasonal base near Bangor. The campground operates seasonally, approximately May through October.
Facilities
The centrally located bathhouse includes separate men's and ladies' rooms with two private showers and a coin-operated laundry room. Electric service includes both 30-amp and 50-amp hookups, and full hook-up sites connect to a sewer leach field. A dump station is available for non-sewer sites. On-site amenities include a camp store (open Memorial Day through Labor Day, 10 a.m.–8 p.m.), Wi-Fi throughout the campground, a dog park, playground, and volleyball court. Firewood is sold at the store and delivered to sites at no charge.
Recreation
The property features a small fish pond with canoeing and kayaking access. A glamping tent rental and a 32-foot onsite RV rental are available for guests who prefer not to bring their own equipment.
