Branch Lake Stream Site

Description

Primitive/Off grid Camp Site situated close to downtown Ellsworth and 40 minutes to Acadia National Park. Set just off the road is 2 acres that abuts Branch Lake Stream that flows to Leonards Lake. Great stream fishing for native brook trout. Site is currently set up as a primitive camp site, no utilities. Work is being done to bring power, sewer and water. Level parking area, great for camper vans or tenting. Nice cleared out spot for access to the stream for kayaking and exploring.

Directions

From Rt. 1A(Bangor Rd) turn onto Christian Ridge Rd, head approximately 1 mile and cross Branch Lake Stream. Site is directly after the bridge on the left. From Rt. 1/3(Bucksport Rd) turn on Christian Ridge Rd, head approximately 1.3 miles. Site is on the right, just before the guardrail leading up to the bridge crossing Branch Lake Stream. Please note the pictures showing the grade stakes with orange flagging. Do not enter this area with vehicles. Parking vehicles is best up near the well, which is directly straight ahead when you pull into the lot.
