Overview

Lighthouse Bend is a privately-operated RV resort located at 190 Davis Rd in Cameron, Louisiana, situated on the river at the edge of the Gulf of Mexico along the Creole Nature Trail near Lake Charles. Developed as a partnership between the Cameron Parish Police Jury and Venture Global LNG and opened in 2023, it caters to families, sportsmen, and RV enthusiasts seeking a Gulf Coast destination. The 36-site resort is part of a larger mixed-use complex that includes a full-service restaurant, a fully-stocked market, and a 14-slip marina.

Facilities

The resort offers 36 RV sites with electric and water hookups. Handicap-accessible bathrooms are on site. An on-site event pavilion includes electric and water outlets. The adjoining Lighthouse Market-To-Go provides supplies, and the on-site restaurant offers dining including catch-and-cook options. A playground is available for guests.

Recreation

Guests have direct access to fishing and crabbing; a fish-cleaning station and marina fueling are available on premises. The marina accommodates up to 14 slips for private boats. The surrounding area provides wildlife viewing (alligators, birds) along the Creole Nature Trail, with Rutherford Beach 12 miles away and Pintail Nature Drive 24 miles away.
