Directions

Our address is 1202 Saline River Road, Plainville, KS. However, be cautious of using GPS only to get to our house. Many times the directions are not correct, so we recommend exiting the interstate at Exit 159 - Hays and following these directions: Directions: go north of Hays (exit 159) on US 183, 14 miles. Right after you cross the Saline River bridge, you'll find the intersection for Saline River Road. Turn west, left, and go 4.5 miles. There you will see Hyacinth Ave going north, and our driveway going south. It's marked by a mailbox with 1202 on it. Go south down the driveway, a little over a mile, past an old rock barn and you'll see the house. We will lead you to the campsite from there.

Absolute Diamond.

This place is an incredible continuously working Ranch since 1884. It is also the site of the first recorded Buffalo Soldier conflict out of Fort Hays (25 miles away). So history? Check! The views both day and night? Stunning! Our hosts? The best part of our stay. They were extremely accommodating and welcoming. We will be back. Soon! And I live in Detroit…
