Woodland Campground operates as a private facility east of the Missouri River in western Iowa's rolling terrain. Open from mid-April through mid-October, the campground provides electric hookups for RVs along with drinking water, restrooms, and shower facilities. Cell service reaches the area, and campers can bring pets.
The facility allows campfires and maintains ADA accessibility. Reservations are available for those planning ahead. Campers can explore loess hills state forest or find additional places to camp around Little Sioux for extended stays in the region.
