Bar, Boats, Bands, and Beer

I'll tell you what, this is definitely the most fun place I've stayed over the years. They have great food at the bar that's on the water called bobbers. They have boat rental, firewood, propane, etc. The couple downfalls is the shower and bath house is outdated and there's no swimming area on this side of the lake. Other than that I had a blast. There is a playground for the kids and a huge patio next to it attached to the bar and restaurant. I believe they are closed from November 1st to March 1st.

Decent place for adults to camp.

The campground is on a good boating lake. There is an ok restaurant at the campground as well which has live music and activities karaoke, volleyball and bags. The campground has a sense of community and campers seem helpful and friendly. The playground is a little small and the water hookups are smelly. All in all there seems to be plenty going on here and a good place for adults to camp and just alright for the kids.

Super nice owner!

Just looking for a layover spot after a long day of driving. Couldn't figure out where to register so we walked into the bar/restaurant, Bobber's Grill. The owner was at the bar. Was going to charge us $35 because he thought we needed hook ups. Explained we were self sufficient and really just needed a place to park...very willing to pay for a tent site. After confirming we needed nothing else, he said "Well if that's all you want, you can park in my lot here and buy a beer." Deal!! The tent sites were really muddy that day so we were thrilled to have a lot. Place is right on the lake. Lots of boating. Quiet at night. Really a fun place to be.
