It’s time KOA User

This campground is gorgeous. The sites are gravel and grassy. Great shade all over and landscaping is beautiful. Full access and hook ups makes it so easy. There is an awesome playground for families with kids. Nice grassy area throughout for your fur babies. Less then a minute off of 1-74 and…

Nothing there unless you fish which costs extra!

Lots of monthly campers and lots of trash. I picked up a trash bag full just behind my spot. When you check-in the list of rules makes it feel very unwelcoming. The "lakes" are more like ponds but you have to stay away so the anglers get the water. Not supposed to even walk around! You back in so…

Wonderful hosts, lovely, quiet campground

Great spot for an overnight stop. Host was super friendly and helpful. We had to switch dates last minute and they were super flexible. We arrived at 2am, but they had us all situated for late checkin. The campground itself was very lovely and quiet. Couple tight spots for a long rig (we have a…

No more tent camping

They used to have awesome tent camping sites, but they stopped allowing tent camping. RV/camper's are the only thing they allow now.

Easy stay for Turkey Run and Shades State Parks

The campground is nicely shaded. Spots are gravel and cater to various types of camping. Only one restroom for whole campground and spots are pretty close, but overall pretty good.

Clean and maintained

This campground sits on a really good fishing lake. The lake is not swimable, beware of snakes, and does not allow gas motors.  There are a few nice trails, some horse trails, and nice picnic areas. The entire day ark and campground are clean and well maintained. The bathhouse at the campground is…

Largest County Park I've ever stayed at.

Great Attitude an Service by the staff.  I was warmly welcomed and escorted to my site.  The only amenity not available is Sewage Hookup but they offer a dump instead.  Very open wide spaced sites. Shade is hard to come by.

The Park came about because the Property was Part of huge Military Camp…

Nice campground

Nice but bare bones former military campground.

We have camped here twice, we needed to be as close to Trafalgar Indiana as possible, not many camping options in the local area.

Nice Overall

Overall, a pretty nice campground if you’re just passing through. The owners are very friendly and will help you set up if you need it. The spots are close together but they have a very nice pool.

Great people, beautiful campground!

This KOA served as " home" for my husband and I for 3 weeks while moving. The family that runs the campground is wonderful and extremely helpful. The little restaurant has great food at good prices, and many ice cream flavors for those hot summer day's! Great pool and a place to let your dog run!…

Hidden gem

Great place to hike!! Trails are well maintained and lake is beautiful no matter when you go. Campground leaves a bit to be desired since the tent sites are a tad small but the rest of the park is so fantastic that we didn't spend a lot time time around there anyway.

Good Campground, horrible tent sites

The staff was great, all the amenities were fantastic. This campsite would be great if you were staying in an RV, camper, or one of the cabins, but the tent sites are terrible. They are right next to the highway, and they are all very exposed, and have little protection from mosquitoes.
