Easy place

Regular campground with pit toilets. Electric and primitive sites available. Good bird watching spot. Lots of eagles. Nice place, there is gunfire noise from the range across the lake. Not bad though

Boating enthusiast

Cash only self check in on sight. Very small campground. About 20 electric and 20 tent. Level gravel lots. Not any hiking really, mostly fishing and boating. Nearby town for supplies.

Good little camp ground

It's a good little camp ground. Electric sites are small and not private. The outhouses are very clean.

Beautiful find

Took a ride on the Harley Tuesday(late March 2021) and didn’t know where I was. 75 miles from home and passed this place on my way to get fuel but wanted to come back and take a look. Wasn’t to impressed when I pulled in but the further I got the more it just felt right. The view was amazing even with the lake drained and the spots had nice shade and were a good size definitely gonna put together a group for the guys and ride down this summer for the weekend. Always wanted to go Motorcycle camping and this just feels like the right place

Nice campgrounds for the money

During the weekends it gets packed. Only 60 sites so show up early if you want one. No reservations so first come gets it. No bathhouse just pit toilets. During the week it’s great. Hardly anyone here and so peaceful. Some campers need to be a little more respectful about cleaning up after themselves. But overall a nice little place

Disappointing & disturbing

Was there 2 weeks ago, but left after a short visit. At the campsite next to mine, someone had dumped a skinned coyote. Called DNR & there wasn't much they could do. Also tons of trash left at campsites, including dirty diapers. People are careless here, how sad.

A little needed rest.

Kil-so-qauh, used to be a little hidden gem right outside of town but has turned into quite a popular place, but for good reason. The campground accommodates both luxury rv campers and more rustic private tent or hammock goers like myself. Entering the camping area there is a lush grass opening with large campsites with water and electric hook ups for the RV folk. There are also 2 nice play grounds in this area as well. Continuing down the road you begin to enter the woods which is non electric sites with plenty of trees to make your weekend private and to the right is an overlook of Roush Lake where you can watxh the sunset set the water on fire. There are no fantastic bathrooms just pit toilets but easy get away is worth it.

*I've camped here every season but if you dont like crowds, make sure to avoid the summer holidays.
