Love's Travel Stop - Atkinson

While this wouldn’t be the first place I would look for refuge while traveling east– west across I80 while in western Illinois near Atkinson, if it’s late, dark and no other piece of pavement is luring you to its asphalt, then you could do worse than this 24/7 Love’s multi-functional pit stop. Of course, you’ll be able fuel up here, but there’s also two imbedded restaurants(Subway and Godfather Pizza) along with a decent roadside marketplace. Other amenities include: WiFi, private showers, clean restrooms, video gaming, bulk propane for sale/ propane tank exchange, tire service station(behind the Love’s main store), laundry facility, ATM, dog park, RV dump station. There’s only a bit of room for parking your RV or trailer in the front of this retail location, so if you’re looking for something with a bit more solitude and privacy, I would recommend you find a spot between a pair of 18 wheeling big rigs in the rear of the property.
