This is a primitive backcountry site with six tent camping units and a vault toilet; no other services or facilities are available. The access road is narrow, steep and rough.

About 56 miles southeast of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I-90 east from Coeur d'Alene for 25 miles to the Cataldo Exit (exit 40) then south on Latour Cr./Rochat Divide Road for 30 miles and then west on Phillips Draw Road for 1 mile

Backcountry!

My favorite spots are these back country spots with my partner.

There are several sites near here and it’s remote enough to sight in your guns and do a little practice.

Bring all your camping supplies, as there are not services like water, which is just how we like them! 

As you would expect there is not much maintenance of the trees nearby, but I was still able for find a clearing to set up my hammock.

This was my first back-country attempt when I got my hammock backpacking gear.
