SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

A private homestead campground in Star, Idaho, Terriland runs on a more personal scale than a typical RV park. Fruit trees dot the property, and the host, Terri, is known for greeting late arrivals and following up with local dining recommendations. Campers consistently describe the atmosphere as welcoming and attentive rather than hands-off.

Sites accommodate RVs up to 45 feet and include electric hookups, picnic tables, and WiFi, with campfires permitted and trash service provided. Toilets are on site. One reviewer flagged the absence of water and sewer hookups, so self-contained rigs or those not requiring full hookups will be the better match. The terrain around the property is forested and situated near both a river and a lake, though one reviewer also noted proximity to a water treatment facility, which is worth factoring in when choosing a site.

"Gorgeous, safe and we slept very soundly," notes Donna B., who extended her stay by an extra night. Rates run $50 to $60 per night, reservations are available, and pets are welcome. Campers looking for additional options in the region can browse campgrounds near Star or consider nearby properties such as Roystone Hot Springs to the northeast. Booking ahead is advisable, especially for summer weekends when host-run properties at this price point tend to fill quickly.

Great and friendly place!

We had such a great experience here! Very welcoming and friendly people. We arrived late and Terri still came out to welcome us and help us get settled. She gave us great recommendations to do around the area.

Inadequate Utilities and Communication

We realized that the campground did not supply water and sewage. We tried to cancel but heard nothing from the host. The area looks close to a water treatment plant. Not suitable for us.

We are so sorry that you were unable to contact us. Strange, that you didn't contact me through the Dyrt portal or cancel on the Dyrt site. We do have water hookups and also have a sewage dump. Safe travels.

Doug and Heather

Terri was so sweet and welcoming! Gave us recommendations for dinner and even called to see if we needed anything before turning in for the night. A lovely property with tons of fruit trees! Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for one night, just passing through, but what a lovely little homestead with the kindest host. Highly recommend.
