Close to access lake day use area

Tent camped on RV spot. All spots have a leveled sand square for tents. Trees offered shade. No privacy due to layout. Tent spots appear to offer more privacy. However, be warned that the access road for tent sites is steep and bumpy. Pit toilets with no other amenities. Camp host is friendly…

I like

Would have said 5 but we had a code on our electric and no way to report it as the host is not here and the phone numbers had full messages so are apparently not checked. Clean restrooms and showers, dump station, nice and quiet. Bonus, there was a Fjord Horse show while we were here. Cool to see…

Camper beware.

Very small spaces and tight quarters. Not for very big rvs at all. Spaces aren't very level. Does have picnic tables and a fire pit. Whole place is pretty primitive.

Summer time

We love round lake!!! We coMe here all the time. But, we stayed in a different part of the park than we normally do. And it felt like a completely different stay. That is why we are doing another review. This place is the best!

Beautiful Lake Side Campground

The road in and out is all gravel. While a low clearance vehicle could make it, I recommend a high clearance vehicle. But the campground itself is fantastic. Camping is free and there are vault toilets. I did see one water spigot, but I recommend filtering your own water. A few of the campsite are…

Very nice quiet campround

We stayed just 1 night in Mid June and the weather was great. The location for us was great , close to Sandpoint but far enough away to enjoy the quiet afternoon and sunset that evening vs. the noise and activity.

The sites were very well maintained. Power, water and on site dump station. The…

River view campsite

Very quiet and beautiful spot. Our site had a nice open meadow and was right next to access to the river. We spent the afternoon with our chairs on the riverbank and dangling our feet in the water. One of the cleanest vault toilets I have been in!

Increadible access to lake Pend Orielle

We fell fortunate to have stumbled onto this great camp site. It have two large loops that have 30ish, clean, large, beautiful spots.

There are areas for large group picnics , an area for dogs, a lovely beach and a boat launch.

The place was packed and apparently books quickly.

Great free campground

Very nice, decent sized, and well spaced out sites. Each site has a wooden structure over the picnic table for shade. There are 6 sites total, 2 are on the lake.

Looks like there are some trails to explore around the campground but I didn’t have a chance to check them out.

Enjoy the Yaak

Beautiful semi primative campground right on the Kootenay river. There are 2 campgrounds, one on each side of the Yaak river before it converges with the Kootenay river.

Lots are well spaced, however narrow limiting slide outs and awning extension. Obviously slide out take priority limiting awning extension. There is no fresh drinkable water hook up at sanitation station. The fresh water station carries a warning that it is not suitable for drinking. ( Not sure if…

Near Lake with Little Views

Stayed here Friday night and you really had to get here by 5 pm to get one of the few first come, first serve spots. Well maintained but expect crowds as most sites have 4+ people or lots of children. Expect to walk several hundred feet to the water. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table with…
