Paved sites, drinking water, and direct access to the Lochsa River make Whitehouse Campground a functional base for exploring this stretch of campgrounds near Clearwater National Forest. The campground sits right along the river, with some sites close enough to hear the water. Site #2 is paved and level, and nightly fees run $14. Vault toilets are located across the road. The season runs late May through early September, pets are not permitted, and the campground accommodates big rigs. Nearby Wendover Campground offers an alternative if sites here are taken.
