Within the Nez Perce National Forest, Meadow Creek Campground provides an established camping option along a creek drainage system. The campground sits on open terrain that allows views of the surrounding landscape without heavy tree cover blocking sightlines.
One camper noted the area tends to have lighter visitor numbers compared to busier forest destinations, making it a viable choice for those preferring less crowded conditions. The creek proximity offers water access for camp needs and potential fishing opportunities. The forest road system connects to several other camping areas, including South Fork less than two miles away. Campers can also explore camping spots around Grangeville for additional forest service options in the region.
Description
Meadow Creek Campground is located along the South Fork of the Clearwater River. The campground has 3 units with picnic tables and toilets.
