Gass Creek Dispersed — Clearwater NF

Description

Deep in the wooded ridgelines of the Clearwater National Forest along the historic Lolo Trail corridor, this dispersed site sits in dense timber at roughly 6,300 feet elevation. The clearing is spacious enough for a group and includes a rock fire ring, though yellowjackets are a persistent presence in the warmer months. No cell signal reaches this far into the backcountry, and the forest road approach is not suited to large rigs.
