Coyote Yurt - Sun Valley Trekking

​Coyote Yurt is the perfect place to base yourself for a variety of adventures. Nestled on a ridge at 8700 feet, Coyote is the ultimate alpine getaway from the summer heat and crowds. Enjoy stunning views of the spectacular Boulder and Pioneer Mountains, and relax with nearly all the comforts of home, and none of the distractions.

Hike, Mountain Bike, or drive to the yurt and enjoy a comfortable and unique experience with friends and family. All cooking and cleaning supplies are provided; Coyote is comprised of two separate yurts and is supplied with a 3-burner propane stove, a propane BBQ grill, a Dutch Oven, bunk beds with sleeping pads, 2 outhouses, Goal Zero solar powered lanterns for light and speaker for mp3 players, an outdoor fire-pit, and pre-cut firewood. Cell phones do work at the yurts. You only need to bring your sleeping bags, food, and beverages.

Coyote Yurt accesses a vast network of trails for hiking and biking (see maps below), and provides a picturesque place to enjoy the Idaho sunsets and starry nights.

A favorite among Coyote groups is to hire a porter/shuttle that will shuttle you and your group to a trailhead and then to bring all your gear and food to the yurts-so you can hike/bike amazing high singletrack to or from the yurts. Call or email us to find out more about this option.

Coyote Yurt can sleep up to 19 people in the two different yurts and there is plenty of space outside for extra tents.
