Description
Where the historic Lolo Trail corridor meets Boundary Peak Road at a grassy junction deep in the Clearwater National Forest, this dispersed area sits at roughly 5,300 feet elevation. Several vehicles can spread out across the open flats, and the Austin Ridge trailhead departs from here — though the route is overgrown and difficult to follow. Cell service is essentially absent, making this a genuinely off-grid stop in Idaho's Bitterroot Range.
