Hiking and wildlife viewing draw campers to Sugi Grove Primitive, a forested site within Kōkeʻe State Park Campground territory in Kokee State Park. The campground sits near a creek and carries a rough access warning, so high-clearance vehicles are worth considering. Rates run $12 to $18 per night. The site is open year-round. Lonomea Shelter and Camp offers an established alternative about a mile to the south for campers who want different surroundings.
