Military or retired DOD

First time using a military campground. Neat concrete pads for pull through or back in RVs. Nice community building with nice showers and a huge laundromat. Some sites overlook a small lake.

Eagle Hammock Kings Bay Sub Base

This is a very clean and well managed camp ground. When driving in, was instantly met by staff to check in. Paperwork was already filled out. All they needed was to see my ID and get tag number. There is a great hangout lounge where you can watch TV, cook a meal or just use the provided computers with printers. The sites are full hook up with cable. Great place to stop if near Jacksonville.

Best Military Campground

What a great campground! The lake is beautiful. The laundry free. And close to St. Marys. There is fishing, hiking and riding trails. We saw lightening bugs, armadillos, and many different waterfowl. All the sites are paved with full hook-up. Love it here.

Very nice campground

This place has it all. WiFi, cable, FHU, bathhouse, washer/dryer. Access to the exchange and commissary. The grounds are well kept, the staff are awesome, and everyone is friendly. Access to paved bike paths, nature trails, and fishing/boating. There are also eateries on base, a movie theater, and bowling. The base also offers various classes for those on base. This is a very nice campground.
