Great Overnight Stop

Nice place and nice people. Lucky for us it wasn’t that busy. Otherwise you would be packed in. Over all a nice place. Lots of road noise from the interstate.

Thank you for the kind words Mike! We hope to have ya back soon. Feel free to check with us about back-in sites that tend to be more spacious if you are concerned with pull-through sites being busy.

Prearranged by phone late arrival

When I called, they were closing, they accepted me as a late arrival with details on where my site was. Clean and quiet. They have rescue farm animals on the property, they have a dog park, pool and clean shower/restrooms. I’m already planning a repeat visit with a longer stay…

HORRIBLE INTERNET

The park was fine. It is what the name calls it- a campground for travelers. Not sure I’d want to stay here for more than a day or two. We were in a little pull through area. About 4 rows of sites, with maybe 5 sites per row. Literally pulled right up behind the campers in front of us. There is a small patch of grass on one side. That’s it. Bathrooms and showers were fair.

Not sure who said the internet coverage was good. It SUCKS. The campground is down a hill off the side of the interstate. Any signal probably just floats right by above you. Couldn’t even connect to check email. We were only there for one night, so I can’t speak for the local wifi. But the office staff said it was good for email and that’s about it.

Hey Dean, sorry to hear about the internet giving you trouble. We've since upgraded the access points in the overnight area. Long-term guest can make use of our internet modems that provide hardwired internet right to their RVs but for convenience sake we are working to improve the overnight area WiFi.

Adorable and Smart

Found this location here on Dyrt and I'm so glad we did. We were tired along our drive and needed a place to park and rest.

The staff checks you in and then brings you to your location via a golf cart. Probably one of the best hospitality perks after a long day of driving.

The park left the middle empty allowing you to enjoy the stars at night and have a place to walk your dogs.

An animal rescue is woven between the park and around the outside in such a thoughtful and beautiful way. I wish there was more info on this as you can tell it was very well thought out and we would love to know more.

The parking here is brilliant and I couldn't be more impressed with this park. While a quick oversight, it sure felt cozy.

Thank you, Jessica for staying with us at Travelers Campground! We appreciate all the beautiful pictures and 5 stars!

The animals are all rescue animals that have been given to us. We have volunteers that feed them daily and care for them. HItchcocks is a local grocery store that donates food to us as well. They also receive care from the vet.

Thank you, again for the review and nice comments! We look forward to your next visit!

Great overnight spot

We arrived after dark, which we seldom do. However they made it very easy by having detailed directions. Sites are set up unique for overnight folks by having you drive down a driveway and stopping at your particular spot, so campers are in essence, lined up. Plenty of space. The next morning we were pleasantly surprised by the about of space, animal "zoo" and convenience of getting out. Close to the interstate but didn't hear noise. Slept great!!

Nice stop along I-75

We stopped in here on our way to Stone Mountain, coming from south Florida. It is conveniently located right off of I-75N with some restaurants nearby. Pull through full hook up site with cable. After checking in you follow someone on a golf cart to your spot. Bathroom facilities are adequate, need a facelift. Wife had some cockroach visitors while showering… I didn’t see any in the Mens shower. Could’ve been a water bug? They have a animal rescue on site that you can go an feed them, pretty cool. Cellular spotty (T-Mobile)…
