Description

The Lines Youth Group Camp is in Lake Talquin State Forest (Gadsden County), Line's Tract about 31 miles west of Tallahassee, FL. The 10-mile Lines Trail is for beginners to intermediate-level cyclists. The trails offer a unique opportunity to experience a variety of Florida's beautiful natural communities while exercising and enjoying one of today's popular activities. The main trail without the spur loops is around 6.5 miles and takes about an hour to travel at regular speed. The complete 10-mile loop takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete at regular speeds. The primitive group campsite is accessible by a 2 mile trail (bike or hike) or by vehicle and service roads. No electric or water is available at the campsite; however, a restroom and pavilion are available at the trailhead. Recreational activities featured here are: hiking, mountain biking, trail running, picnicking, bird watching, wildlife viewing and photography. Drive in access, with gate code.

Directions

From I-10; take exit 181 -Quincy (FL 267) south 7.4 miles turn left on Cooks Landing Rd. Trail head 0.75 mile down on the right ; Overnight - hike/bike in campers park at the main trail head. The vehicle access gate is 1.2 miles down on the right. \*Pass the main trail head entrance and enter at the next gate on the right side of Cook's Landing Rd.
