Good Basic County Campground

This campground is for tents only, however, due to a mix up with our reservation at Walker Landing, they moved us to this campground even though we are in an RV. Most sites are big and level enough for an RV so it may be worth asking, if you want to stay here in an RV.

Lots of tree cover so our solar panels were struggling to get enough sun.

There are trash bins and recycling bins all through the campground. Recycling bin said "bottles and cans only" and when I asked if that includes glass I was told I can put whatever I want in there. Maybe send all of it to the landfill, I don't know.

Nice hosts and nice guests. Friendly place to stay.

With tax it came to about $11/night, good deal!

Free hot showers, not the cleanest or best smelling bath house but it was ok.

No hiking around there, just walking along the boat docks and board walk. It's in a residential neighborhood so you could walk around there.

Lots of day use traffic with boaters coming and going.

It was a good place for us to stay while we waited for an appointment in Tallahassee, otherwise I wouldn't recommend this place as a destination.

Water spigots at each site, but we filled up our jug with it and dumped it back out, water had a brownish tinge. No power and no dump station, but the county operator said we were welcome to use the dump station at Coe Landing since we were Leon County Parks guests.

Good cell service with Verizon and ATT.
