Managed by the Southwest Florida Water Management District, Conner Preserve covers more than 2,500 acres north of Land O' Lakes and supports hiking, horseback riding, and a model-airplane flying field alongside its primitive campsites. No pets are allowed. Flooding has historically restricted camping access, so confirming current conditions with the district before visiting is worth the call. The preserve has ADA-accessible facilities and toilets on site. Reservations are available, which is useful given the limited number of sites.
Description
Campground is currently closed due to flooding.
Primitive campsite equipped with picnic table and fire ring; off main trail in eastern portion of preserve.
A free reservation is required and must be displayed on dashboard at campground.
