Bennett Field Campground is located in Tiger Bay State Forest near Ormond Beach, FL. The area features flat terrain with pine forests and wetlands. Temperatures range from 50°F in winter to 90°F in summer. Nearby attractions include Tomoka State Park and the Daytona International Speedway.
Description
The Bennett Field Campground is located in the Tiger Bay State Forest (Volusia County), about 10 minutes west of Daytona Beach, FL. This campground has the following facilities: campsites with a communal pit toilet, a communal pitcher pump (non-potable), and no electricity. Recreational activities featured here are: hiking, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking, bird watching, wildlife viewing and photography.
This primitive campground has non-potable water and no electric hookups. One vault toilet is present. A gate combination is required to enter this campground. The combination is found at the very bottom of the confirmation email sent from Reserve America when a site is booked.
Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Florida forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our forests.
