Description
Deep in Pike National Forest near Redskin Mountain, this dispersed site sits off Redskin Creek Road (FR 550) at roughly 7,950 feet, surrounded by dense tree cover and active wildlife. A large boulder marks the entrance, with a campfire ring behind it and enough room for rigs up to about 24 feet — leveling blocks are a practical necessity given the uneven terrain. The access road becomes challenging in snow, and the tight layout demands careful maneuvering; no cell service reaches the site, though satellite internet functions well.
