Moqui Lake BLM Dispersed — Canyons of the Ancients

Open BLM land within the Canyons of the Ancients National Monument edges a canyon where two or three wide roadside pullouts sit alongside Moqui Lake and look out over open canyon country in southwestern Colorado. Traffic along the gravel access road is light — mostly other campers and occasional oil-field workers — and orienting camp toward the canyon gives the spot a sense of genuine remove. The road is manageable for larger rigs up to roughly 30 feet, though anything longer may find turning around a challenge.
