No longer a campground

My husband lost his wedding band in this area on 6/4/22. We think it may have been lost at the small parking lot at the old Molly Gulch campground. The ring is made of titanium and wood, if you find it please give me a call/text! Lynette - 330.621.6007

The campground itself is no longer operating. There are some sites you could potentially hike back to, but there are "No camping" signs posted.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a fee to camp at Molly Gulch Campground and do I need reservations?

Molly Gulch is no longer functioning as an official campground, so there is no fee structure or reservation system in place. The area appears to be primarily used as a parking area now, rather than for overnight camping. If you're looking for camping opportunities in the vicinity, contact the local forest service or land management office to inquire about current camping regulations, fees, and reservation requirements for alternative sites nearby. Always check current land use regulations before planning any overnight stays.

What amenities and facilities are available at Molly Gulch Campground?

Molly Gulch Campground is no longer operational as an established campground. The area now serves primarily as a small parking area and potential day-use site rather than a developed camping facility. No formal amenities or facilities are currently maintained at this location. Visitors should be prepared for primitive conditions and should bring all necessary supplies including water, food, and waste disposal bags. For developed camping facilities, consider checking with the local forest service office for alternative options in the region.

What outdoor activities can I enjoy near Molly Gulch Campground?

While Molly Gulch is no longer an active campground, the surrounding area likely offers various outdoor recreation opportunities. The presence of a parking area suggests it may serve as a trailhead or access point for day-use activities. Depending on the specific location and terrain, activities might include hiking, wildlife viewing, photography, and nature appreciation. For water-based recreation, check local regulations and conditions. Before visiting, contact the managing agency to confirm which activities are permitted and to get updated information on trails and recreational opportunities in the vicinity.

Where is Molly Gulch Campground located and how do I get there?

Molly Gulch Campground is located in a remote area that features a small parking lot at what was formerly an established camping area. The site is accessible by vehicle, though specific directions should be obtained from local forest service offices or recreation maps before departing. The area appears to be relatively secluded, making it important to have clear directions when planning your visit. Consider bringing physical maps as backup navigation, as cell service may be unreliable in this remote location.
