Heffernan Gulch Dispersed — Arapaho NF

Description

On the lower slopes of the Mount Evans corridor within Arapaho National Forest, a compact forest clearing opens off County Road 75 at roughly 9,400 feet — tall conifers, small seasonal streams, and genuine mountain quiet. The camping area is intentionally small, with room for only a handful of vehicles; tight tree spacing makes it best suited to tents and short-wheelbase rigs. The access road is paved and generally passable in two-wheel drive, though the spot fills quickly on summer weekends and parking is the real constraint.
