Fourmile Road Dispersed — White River NF

White River National Forest's Fourmile Creek corridor climbs into spruce-fir terrain above the Roaring Fork Valley at roughly 8,600 feet, with open views toward Sunlight Peak and the kind of high-country quiet that rewards the drive. Dispersed spots are scattered along Fourmile Road (FR 300.3) past the Sunlight Mountain ski area — the further in you go, the more options open up, including pullouts on a rougher side road across the creek.
