Corona Pass Road (FR 149) Dispersed — Arapaho NF

Just below treeline on Arapaho National Forest, this cluster of pulloff sites lines a short stretch of Corona Pass Road (FR 149) at roughly 10,900 feet, with the James Peak Protection Area and open alpine terrain close to the south and east. Several sites have fire rings, and the corridor sits within striking distance of Rogers Pass and Rollins Pass country. The road opens around June 15 and closes by November 15; the upper section turns rough and rocky, making high clearance the practical minimum for the final switchbacks.
