Managed by Colorado Parks & Wildlife as part of Yampa River State Park, Maybell Bridge sits directly off US 40 with straightforward drive-in access for most rig sizes. The campground is small, with a handful of designated sites that are level and positioned close to the river. Sites are dry camping only, priced at $15 per night when last reported. US 40 carries minimal traffic at night, so road noise is not a significant factor. Juniper Canyon is another Yampa River State Park option roughly four miles southeast. This site works best as an overnight stop for travelers passing through or paddlers needing quick river access.
