BLM Dispersed off Highway 141 — Grand Junction

At the edge of Unaweep Canyon country along Colorado Highway 141, this BLM dispersed area occupies a rough dirt pullout dotted with fire rings and a cluster of boulders that draw climbers regularly. The terrain between spots is uneven, though level ground can be found once you settle in, and highway traffic fades to near-silence after dark. The access track is genuinely demanding — 4WD and high clearance are strongly advised, as the surface becomes treacherous enough to trap two-wheel-drive vehicles.
