Description
Along a forested ridge in Arapaho National Forest, just northeast of Grand Lake and within reach of the Bowen Gulch Protection Area, these dispersed sites occupy a burn-zone clearing with open views and established fire rings. The access road is well-maintained and manageable even for 2WD vehicles, with good pull-through room for large rigs and smaller pockets suited to tents. The area draws a steady crowd in summer and fall — expect neighbors on weekends, though the ridge offers enough spread to find a quiet corner.
