Description
Open high-desert terrain just below Conway Summit at roughly 8,600 feet offers this BLM dispersed area off Virginia Lakes Road, commanding sweeping views across the Mono Basin — one of the Eastern Sierra's most dramatic landscapes. Several gravel spur tracks branch off the main road and offer multiple pullout options, some tucked enough to feel private, others open to the occasional passerby. The surface is rocky and uneven in places, so leveling may take some patience, but the road is passable for 2WD vehicles with reasonable clearance.
