Description

For The Dyrt, travelers tend to be looking for camping experiences, unique stays, outdoor recreation, and local character. This version leans more into the farm experience, open space, camping, and Central Coast exploration.

Welcome to Toyo Farm, a peaceful farm retreat in the heart of California’s Salinas Valley. Whether you’re traveling in an RV, camper van, overlanding vehicle, or pitching a tent under the stars, Toyo Farm offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of rural California while remaining close to some of the Central Coast’s most popular destinations.

Our spacious property features open fields, historic greenhouses, rustic barns, wide-open skies, and beautiful farmland views that create a relaxing alternative to crowded campgrounds and RV parks. Guests can enjoy quiet evenings, stunning sunsets, fresh country air, and the slower pace of life that only a working farm can provide.

RV travelers will appreciate large, easy-access parking areas with room for motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, camper vans, and larger rigs. Select sites may offer access to water, sewer, and electrical hookups depending on availability. Self-contained units are welcome.

Tent campers can enjoy spacious areas for setting up camp, relaxing around their site, and enjoying peaceful nights beneath the stars. The property’s open layout provides plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the natural surroundings.

One of the most unique features of Toyo Farm is its collection of greenhouses and agricultural spaces that showcase the farming heritage of the Salinas Valley, often referred to as the “Salad Bowl of the World.” Guests are surrounded by active agricultural landscapes and can experience a side of California rarely seen by visitors staying closer to urban areas.

The farm also features large metal barns and gathering spaces that may be available for private events, family reunions, retreats, workshops, celebrations, photography sessions, and group activities. The combination of open land, agricultural scenery, and rustic structures creates a truly memorable setting for travelers looking for something beyond a traditional campground.

Toyo Farm is conveniently located near Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pacific Grove, Marina, Moss Landing, Big Sur, and numerous Central Coast attractions. Spend the day exploring the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row, Fisherman’s Wharf, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, local wineries, hiking trails, beaches, farm stands, and scenic coastal drives before returning to the peace and quiet of the farm.

Wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, cyclists, and outdoor adventurers will find plenty to enjoy throughout the surrounding area. The farm’s open skies also provide excellent opportunities for sunrise photography, sunset viewing, birdwatching, and stargazing.
