Rest Stop Trinidad North Bound

A rest stop on Highway 101 north of Camp Trinidad RV Resort, this overnight parking area sits within a corridor of redwoods that block road noise effectively. Parking spots are flanked by trees on both sides, toilets are on-site, and a designated dog potty area makes it workable for pet owners. Big rigs have used it. A staff member on site has been known to share local recommendations for stops just up the road.

Boujiest rest stop I ever did see!

I slept in my car and there were a couple RVs here as well. Your nice little parking spot will be cradled by giant trees on one side and trees that are trying to be giant on the other. There are a few tiny trails you can meander down and the nice janitor will tell you all his favorite places a few minutes north of here. Enjoy!!

Quiet rest stop

Noise deadened by the massive redwood wall we slept quietly here. There are bathrooms as well as a designated dog potty area. Love finding a free spot for the night!
