Great Spot, very windy

Wonderful spot. Sites were kinda small, but we we able to fit 2. -6 person tents and a 4 person in a row. Wasn’t windy when we got there in the morning, but that night the wind started and almost blew everything away. STAKE down, no matter the weather. Water was super warm, but gets icky in the…

Beautiful Spot

My wife and I stayed here before moving on to Lassen Volcanic NP. We stayed here on a Monday night (it was our honeymoon) so we were the only ones here. There was a really cool, fast flowing creek running through the campsite. Just a gorgeous spot in the forest with toilets if you need them.

Great little overnight spot

This campground made for a great overnight getaway trip. We went in late may and the weather was perfect for traditional camping activities. The mosquitoes were out in full force so bug spray is a must. There are some nice places to fish that are just a short walk from the campsites and the…

Gorgeous

This was a great campground, managed by PG&E. It's pretty small, which made it much more quiet than other campgrounds. Our site was right on the river, so we had the peaceful sounds of rushing water to hear. The site (3) was also pretty decent size, and in my opinion the best site.

The best…

Nice place

A sweet little campground located right on the Feather River. Clean facilities, fun fishing. Sites are spacious and include covered picnic bench and fire pit. NO HOOKUPS. Dumpsite 2 miles up the road.

Right on mc cloud creek

Great camp ground. $25 a night. Bathrooms, bear boxes, water and trash cans. Lots of mosquitoes at night of course you’re right on the water. Water is very low this year (2021) so you are on the creek. Normally the you will be on lake Shasta. No camp host and a lot of the site you can reserve…

Great campground very close to lake Shasta

Large campground it has 14 sites. A few of the sites are double sites pretty huge for 2 groups. The water is low right now (may 2021) but, normally it would be walking distance to the water even a few 100 feet. There is clean bathrooms, water, bear bins, and fire rings as well as trash cans! The…

Very weird vibes, but nice camp ground

The camp ground was beautiful. Pretty close to the water, however, this year summer 2021 the water is very low. The camp ground offers bathrooms, bear boxes, very nice fire rings and clean water. There is no camp host so bring your own wood. The fee is $25 a night. The trash cans were over flowed…

Stopped for a day and it was great

Stopped there for the night, went from LA to Portland. Our campground was semi flat and big grounds. Bathrooms clean and quick accessible water. The only issue we had was there was no trashcans anywhere close to us and also our campground happened to be by the entrance and by the busy street, so…

Not Maintained in the Winter

We did not stay the night here, as there was too much snow on Bridge Creek Springs Road in April for our RV to be able to get through. We spent the night in a clearing nearby though, and walked over to the campground to check it out.

The camp sites are nicely spread out, and each comes with a…

Mosquito Mahem in Summer

There’s a beautiful view here, and a lot of peace and solitude- as long as you’re willing to share the space with mosquitos! The water is shallow and warm, so not great for fishing in the late summer. Lots of algae, so swimming can be eh, too. Paddle board paradise, though.

  • Lots of Lilly pads, not sure about the bass situation here. Might bring a pooper next time through.

Juniper Lake (non group)

The smaller sites at Juniper Lake are first come first serve, unlike the group sites that can be reserved.  Over the last few years the popularity of Juniper Lake has grown and it is difficult to find a spot on weekends, but early to mid week there's a pretty good chance you can find a spot. If…

Nice sites but limited activities

The campsites are well spaced and have full hookups and a nice table and fire ring. It has lake front, kayak rentals, and a mini golf course. It does not have trails for biking or hiking, or a good place to go running. For hiking, check out Inks Lake state park.
