Description
Tucked just inside the BLM boundary where the access road crosses McGee Creek, this high-desert pull-off sits at the foot of the White Mountains with wide views toward the Sierra Nevada. The spot is compact — room for one van or car — on a washboard road that remains passable for 2WD, low-clearance vehicles. Deeper into the BLM land, the Tungsten Blue Hills open up for hiking and rock hounding. Note that the parcels directly across the road are privately managed by LA Department of Water and Power; stay on the BLM side.
