This campground is accessible during the 2026 season dates but be advised that Highway 38 is closed Monday-Thursday from 7am to 5pm. On Fridays Highway 38 will be open all day, however, one-way traffic control will be in effect from 7am to 5pm. Highway 38 will be open 24 hours a day on weekends and holidays. The closure area is from Mill Creek Road to Jenks Lake Road. The campground can also be accessed through Big Bear from the upper portion of Highway 38 which is not affected by the closure.

Directions

Take I-10 East to Redlands. Take the University Street exit, EXIT 80. Turn left (northbound) on University Street. Turn right onto E. Lugonia Avenue/SR-38. Continue on State Highway 38 for approximately 22 miles to the campground entrance.
