Le Sage Riviera RV Park

Le Sage Riviera RV Park accommodates RVs up to 45 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. Located in Grover Beach, the park provides drive-in access and requires advance reservations, as sites fill quickly according to multiple campers.

The RV sites sit close together with minimal spacing between units, creating a compact layout that some visitors find tight. The park maintains level sites with small gravel surfaces and provides clean restroom and shower facilities. WiFi is available though reviews indicate connection quality varies. The facility operates without on-site security or gated entry, allowing open access throughout the day.

Beach access ranks as the primary draw, with the ocean reachable via a five-minute walk from the campground. Nearby attractions include monarch butterfly groves where visitors can walk designated paths during migration season. P S. notes the park offers "super clean bathrooms/showers" and maintains quiet conditions despite the close quarters.

The campground operates as a practical overnight stop for travelers, particularly those heading to or from the San Francisco Bay Area during holiday periods. For extended stays in the region, campers can explore camping near Grover Beach or consider nearby Pismo State Beach for additional coastal options. Book well ahead during peak seasons and holiday weekends.

Many guests appreciated the proximity to beach access and well-maintained level sites. Several reviews cited concerns about tight spacing between RVs and limited amenities, making it suitable for short overnight stays.

Decent campground, close to the beach

We’ve stayed here twice over the thanksgiving holiday while on our way to the SF Bay Area. Spots are close and no pool, but the beach is a 5 minute, easy walk. We plan to return again.

Too tight spaces, no security

The spaces between RVs are too tight. It feels you almost look into the others van. No security and no management on site. Everyone can just come in,no gates. Nothing to do there. Nothing happened but I didn't like it. Its ok to stay overnight and move on.

Clean, Rocky grounds

This is a great spot if proximity to water is important to you. Sites are well maintained but hard to come by—make reservations in advance! Hop away from water and another highlight are the nearby monarch groves where the butterflies migrate to the trees and you can walk through on paths.
