Description
High in Klamath National Forest at around 6,000 feet near the flanks of Scott Mountain, Grouse Creek Lake offers a genuinely remote alpine-feeling retreat with very little traffic outside of hunting season. The PCT corridor and Scott Mountain Summit lie within a few miles, making this a natural staging point for high-country exploration. Expect no water, no facilities, and mosquitoes during warmer months — cell signal is generally available.
