Great family spot

I’ve taken my trailer here twice now and love this place. It has nice big pull through spots, park with pool and mini golf. Lots of stuff to keep kids busy. It’s an older sport but feels like camping and not glamping. Staff is very friendly.

Weekend stay

Very easy check in since we did our reservations through The Dyrt app. Upon arrival we found the facility in a clean state. The ladies in the office was very friendly. We have stayed here in the past with our grandkids and it was wonderful. The kids enjoyed the water play area. The park could use some upgrades like their tables. We always reserve the deluxe sites as we like to enjoy our camp fires. The bathrooms and shower area is always clean. We will continue to use this campground in the future.

August 2021

Splash pad was great for the littles, definitely bring chairs down w you. The pool was closed down the day we all tried to get together . The only and biggest downfall was the meat bees. Absolutely ruined the trip. We had a group of 9 families so we couldn’t eat together cuz we all had to escape to our sites and quickly eat . Recommend bringing nets and tents to eat under

Great Campsite

My family loved this campsite, we enjoyed the swimming pool, splash area, and the mini golf. The sites are a little tight but manageable. We will be coming back!

Nice and quiet campground

This campground has spacious sites . They have a store that carries most of the essentials. They have clean restrooms. They also have a pool and play area for smaller kids. This is a nice place for families with small kids.

Great spot!

We stayed here on an off week. Almost had the place to ourselves except for the full timers. The amenities were not open...off season and/or COVID...but we went and took a look and got a thumbs up by our 7 year old daughter. The place looks great for a summer stay!

We used the spot to not be in the snow but make the trip up to Iron Mountain Sno-Park...a 45 minute drive. The snow looked great for skiing but not so much for snowmen or sledding. Wish we had snow shoes!

The next day it was rainy so we drove an hour to Sacramento to visit the zoo and old town. On the way back we stopped at Sutter Creek (an old mining town) and had locally made ice cream in Pine Grove. If you are looking for hipster coffee — Sutter Creek is the way to go!

On our last day we checked out and drove the trailer over to the Indian Grinding Rock State Park. Very few in the parking lot which allowed us to take up a bunch of spots...otherwise there would t have been parking for us. We did the southern trail nature hike and saw the grinding rocks. It’s a must see in our opinion.

On our way out we stopped at the local taco truck...advice from a local. They serve breakfast burritos all day. Get the chorizo. It is the most legit breakfast burrito you’ll ever get!

Bottom line — it’s a great spot to get around the area. We want to come back in the warmer months. Only issue was the internet was not working...and our T-Mobile phones didn’t have coverage in the area. That’s on us though. If you want cell service and reliable internet I don’t think you can hold the campground liable for that!

Kids had a blast!

Good family place. Nice Splash pad and pool. Nothing fancy but it works. They also have a mini golf course. Didn’t use the bathrooms but they do have them throughout the campground. The sites are all dirt but we were lucky and ours was perfectly level. Some of the sites are close and others provide a really good amount of room. Little traffic so our kids could ride their bikes with no worries. Definitely worth coming back for the price.
