Part of BLM Land — Applegate Field Office, Divine Springs Campground operates under Bureau of Land Management oversight in the Alturas area. The campground sits near a creek but requires navigating rough access roads to reach the sites. No pets are permitted at this location.
Campers should prepare for challenging road conditions and plan accordingly for the remote setting. The creek proximity provides a natural water feature, though visitors must be self-sufficient given the undeveloped nature of the area. This spot works best for experienced campers comfortable with primitive conditions and rough vehicle access.
Description
Divine springs campground has 5 metal fire ring/bbq pits and tables. A small stream runs through the site, and is fenced off from livestock.
