Where the forested slopes of Mendocino National Forest meet more open terrain, Three Prong Campground operates as a Forest Service facility from June through November. The campground accommodates RVs up to 24 feet and provides standard amenities including toilets, picnic tables, and designated fire rings. Pets are welcome throughout the grounds.
The mixed terrain offers both shaded and exposed camping spots within the national forest boundary. Campers can access nearby options including Kingsley Glade Campground and Sugarfoot Campground for different settings within the same forest system.
Description
Set amidst fir and pine trees along the edge of a large meadow.
