Accessible via Forest Service roads, Little Doe Campground operates from April through November within Mendocino National Forest. The US Forest Service manages this established site with basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables, and designated fire rings. RV access is limited to rigs 22 feet or shorter.
The campground allows pets and campfires, making it suitable for traditional car camping. Several other Forest Service campgrounds operate nearby, including Howard Meadows Campground just over a mile south. Book early for peak season visits between May and September.

From Covelo, CA, take State Rt. 162 north 1.1 miles to an intersection. Turn right, staying on Rt. 162, and go 2.2 miles to a Y intersection. Bear left, continueing on Rt. 162 and go 8.3 miles to another intersection. Turn left onto Forest Rt. M-1 and go 13.9 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground.
